Going the extra mile for brighter futures

On 26th September, two of our trustees and their wonderful friends are taking on an incredible challenge, walking 50km (approximately 30 miles) in a day, to raise money for Family First Ghana.
Family First Ghana believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and develop in safe, inclusive, and accessible environments. Children with disabilities often face significant barriers to education, healthcare, and participation within their communities. Family First’s dedicated team works alongside families and communities to help break down these barriers. Through therapy, family support, advocacy, awareness-raising, and inclusive education, children are supported to build skills, confidence, and independence so they can reach their full potential.
Our supporters are taking steps towards inclusive education, therapy, and equal opportunities for children with disabilities in Ghana

Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support projects in Kumasi, Ghana, including:
Creating a safe and accessible outdoor play area at Agape Love Inclusive School, where children of all abilities can play, learn, and grow together.
Providing specialist therapeutic equipment that help children develop new skills and independence.
Equipping classrooms with engaging learning resources to support inclusive education.
Enabling their dedicated team of therapists to deliver outreach physiotherapy and speech and language therapy to children in their homes, schools, and local communities.
We want to wish Rosie, Sarah, Harriet and Lib a massive good luck! Walking 30 miles in a day is an incredible challenge that will take determination, resilience and probably a few sore feet - but they’re doing it for a wonderful cause! 👣💛
